On February 11, 2026, Mr. Zhou, Deputy Supervisor General, and Ms. Song, Secretary of the Qingdao Lawyers Association, visited HiHonor on behalf of the Shandong and Qingdao Lawyers Associations, they extended sincere festive wishes to Managing Partner Xinwei ZHAO of the firm, and commended her contributions to serving the high-quality development of the regional economy and deeply engaging in foreign-related legal services.

Lawyer Zhao expressed her sincere gratitude to the Provincial and Municipal Lawyers Associations for their guidance.  She added that the visit not only reflected the care and encouragement of the two-level Lawyers Associations toward all staff of HiHonor Law Firm, but also demonstrated their great attention and support for the development of the legal profession for specialized and high-quality boutique law firms, and for the career development of women lawyers.

During the discussion, Lawyer Zhao briefly introduced the recent development and business features of HiHonor Law Firm: First, the firm has long focused on foreign-related maritime and admiralty legal services, actively promoting the international image of China’s fair and efficient maritime justice through professional practice. Second, it actively fulfills its social responsibilities by continuously participating in public welfare legal services, including on-duty services at Legal Aid Centers and handling legal aid cases.

Based on HiHonor Law Firm’s over 20 years of practice and insights into industry development, Lawyer Zhao also put forward constructive suggestions on optimizing the career development environment for lawyers and serving national macro strategies, including:

1. Exploring the establishment of an Annual Registration Fee reduction or exemption mechanism for Women Lawyers to support their career development during pregnancy, childbirth and parenting;

2. Proposing a more scientific and rational tiered system for collecting Corporate Annual Registration Fees based on law firm size as part of improved industry governance.
